American Heart Event, teaching the Mayor CPR with the City EMS Director, Dr. David Persse

Parachute Consulting’s CEO and Chief Motivator, Sherri Luehr, participated in the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance as Chairman of the American Heart Association’s Gulf Coast CPR Task Force. She joined forces with the City of Houston’s Department of Neighborhoods, the Health and Human Services Department and the Houston Fire Department to train more than a hundred city employees in bystander CPR. Sherri spent the morning with the Honorable Mayor Annise Parker, City of Houston Medical Director Dr. David Persse, and Felicia Gann and Shelly Millwee of the AHA, among others. Sherri stated, “I was most impressed with our Mayor’s commitment to our mission at the AHA and her willingness to learn these lifesaving skills.”
