EMT Training

The PC EMS Instruction Team is comprised of degreed, certified educators and EMS professionals with many years of practical experience.

Our courses are interesting, informative, and FUN, and participants retain what they learn.  We offer our EMS courses at approved locations selected by our clients, and at Bellaire Fire Department, Bellaire, Texas (3 or 4 courses per year, open to the public.)  Some PC EMS courses are scheduled during the daytime; others are offered in the evenings and on weekends.  

Our EMT-B classes include an Extrication Day at the fire station that includes a tour of an ambulance, use of a stretcher, and mock rescue drills to familiarize students with those aspects of EMS.  We require that all students successfully complete the didactic and skills portion of the course and the Extrication Day before they may schedule clinical rotations. 

We have relationships and agreements with 4 hospitals and 6 ambulance entities for the clinical portion of the class.  We often feature special guest lecturers and have visits from EMS employers during the courses also. 

We believe that our courses offer solid instruction from EMS veterans and the opportunity to learn more than book knowledge about emergency medicine; we give our students a balanced, well-rounded view of the emergency medical field and equip them with skills that will allow them to develop a long, satisfying career.
